I understand there are tons of things like this that happen, its the fact that some people refuse to admit that its JUST their personal choice, instead they word it so it looks like the only plausible answer. Which is just as bad a lying to people.
This gets compounded when the people doing it are long time players who people will generally take VERY seriously when they say something. Thats not the persons fault realy, but it just makes being the target of the situation that much more frustrating.
