The internal is proprietary, as others have mentioned. Your best bet is gonna be an external drive for PS4 games and save that space for PS5 games.

It's not so much that there are very few, as that the gen 4 SSDs out there are expensive. PS5 and Series X might be the catalysts for bringing gen 4 prices down in a few years, but right now? Not so much.
