It's possible some of the southern parts of the city like Jamaica Plain did, but people only really think of downtown as "Boston", and there it was probably 4 inches. Braintree, which is 7-8 miles south of downtown, got over a foot, as did every town from there to the cape. But like others have said, everything north and west of the city got 2-4 max, and it's the lightest fluffiest snow ever (due to the cold weather).
