Starkey is KILLING us despite trying Hodari and Andres on him. We are down 20-12 at the 12 minute mark.

For a team that is supposed to be bad from the outside, they are on fire for the next 5-7 minutes and they build a big lead. 34-17 with 6 minutes to go in the half.

Andres comes back into the game and he is playing very well. The team seems re-energized and we go on a run that cuts the lead to 37-24.

Once Starkey came back into the game, I couldn't stop their offense, not even with a zone.

Down at the half, 54-36.

Starkey leads them with 8 points and 8 assists although 3 guys have 10 points.

At the 14 minute mark, we cut the lead to 10, 65-55. This has been due to Andres making some steals, dunks, 3's as well as getting some points from teammates.

We close within 10 several times, but we never get closer. I can't help but think Solomon would have made the difference. Oh well, gotta go with what you have.

We lose 99-87.

Andres with 36 points, 5 boars, 3 assists, 2 steals. He shot 12 of 25, 4 of 7, and 8 of 10.

Santos had 18 points, 6 boars, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 4 turnovers. He shot 5 of 12, 0 of 1, and 8 of 9.

Pait had 12 points and 8 boards. I'm starting to see he can hit the little 8-10 foot jumpers if he is open. He was 5 of 10.

Hodari was shut down. 1 of 8. 3 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, 3 steals.

Casey had 6 points, 1 assist.

Their PG Starkey was the player of the game with 16 points and 14 assists.

Owen had 19 points and 12 boards on the inside.

Now to see if we get into the tourney anyway...
