Both men are now playing the range game, Erik tries to close the range and Revile tries to open it up. Erik charges Revile with the hammer swings right down Revile's center line. Revile cannot handle the charge and the warhammer connects with his head. The hammer hits Revile square in the forehead sending his head backwards, crushing his skull and breaking his neck. Revile collapses to the dirt below.

Erik Flamebeard (of the neither here nor there) is promoted to Rank 2 and receives 1 prestige point. The Rooster collects the $12,000 purse and offers to train Erik how to better anticipate his opponents attacks.
