Pretty ugly all around, I'd say.
QB Bart Pepper really has no business being at the helm of this team. I still think
RB Ty Raines can be a serviceable back, at least as a second or third choice, if not an eventual legit starter.
FL Oliver Siedman shows flashes of talent as a receiver and will probably stick around.
On defense,
MLB Byron Briles has been a huge surprise and may turn out a lot better than anticipated.
LDT Oscar Ramussen is doing better than I thought as well. In development news,
SS Isaac Covington is the big gainer through the halfway mark of the season, leaping from 14 to 19. +5 points in half a season suggests to me he learns and improves fast and will be worth keeping around.
Everything else on this team needs significant work, but I'm already starting to get ideas for who will be re-signed for sure and who are certain cuts.
