I'm probably good enough of a manager to turn any team into a respectable one in two seasons. In this league that's a month real time. So no shock.

The addition of a minor cap crunch can help - free agency might open up a bit. Without that, it's pretty hard to really build unless your'e a draft ace or you're at the very top of the draft, and I'm not either one (well, on the latter front, I don't expect to be 2-14 anytime soon).

Most likely, we muddle through this year, get back to 8-9 wins next season, and are back to the usual "fringe contender" status thereafter. Boring as hell, especially in a league where I don't get to play all my usual bells and whistles games.
