Okay, early FA done, draft assessments out, humbling as always:
WR Maxfield is a RR-first guy, the sort who doesn't seem exciting but it just feels like "able to get open" is a central skill, and dodging that fact is pointless. Fine, we're in. Bottom tier draft, per usual, but some pieces that should click into the roles we have in mind for them, overall.
Well, well. Not so bad? I suspect this DT may be one of those "one max bar but it's really a 130" guys that not everyone believes truly exist. So, that's kinda cool. FB Fau is 249lb, I'm confident his move to TE will be smooth, and if so, we might have a TE1 plan after all, for the first time in quite a while. The DB depth might turn out to be long term good stuff.
