Okay, free agency opens up today. BAL had some tricky situations, and went after a couple big a splash free agents. I tend to toot my own horn when I nail this... so I should lay it out when I miss badly, like here:
Nice young WR

I go $79m... enough to make him the 2nd-highest paid WR in the league. I miss by tens of millions per year. And will carry ungodly amounts of unused cap space. Big fail. I could have had him.
A good running back
TRANSACTIONS 2142 | | FA Stage 2 | signed as an unrestricted free agent from Chicago: 3yrs, $193,320,000. | 2142 | | FA Stage 2 | turned down a contract offer: 4yrs, $196,000,000. | 2142 | | FA Stage 2 | turned down a contract offer: 5yrs, $367,880,000. | 2142 | | FA Stage 2 | turned down a contract offer: 3yrs, $90,000,000. |
Okay, so I just whiff here too. A game-changing RB sounded fun. Instead we underbid both guys, and get nothing. We'll stand around with our dicks in our hands this season.
