-- Bryan Bennett and Constantino are named in the team of the week this week.

-- backup defender Zeki Fryers requests a transfer. I go ahead and grant it. He's a potential replacement at DC for 33 y/o Alex Bruce but if Bruce sticks around for another year after this and Fryers is unhappy now its just not worth it.

Ipswich(9-4-2, 4th) @ Burnley(5-5-5, 14th)

Burnley are big favorites today, even money at their place, we're 11:5. We're 0-1-3 against them but haven't played in a couple years. Two of those matches were in the league cup. They've spent 6 of the last 9 years in the EPL. They demoted down last year and are struggling to go back up.

Burnley are led by Bogdan Stancu and his 9 goals and Franco di Santo's 6 goals. Khan is back in the lineup up front and Gudmundsson is in for Alex Bruce at DC. We're going to defend today.

3': defender Juan Manuel Loboto with a yellow for a foul just outside the area... Berthet with a poor shot.

12': Their first shot is a strong one after a cross into the area, Murphy makes a reflex save and we clear it.

19': We win a ball in our defensive end and send it up long for Khan. Khan with a long run down the left, into the area... but there's no passing lanes or anything he can really try to do. They tackle it away and we earn a corner which they clear.

22': We build up down the right side, their defense slowly shades that way, there's a quick reversal and a pass to Khan.. he shoots from about 18 yards out, its the first clear cut chance of the match for either team, but the keeper gets to it and deflects it, just inches wide even after that. Corner again goes nowhere.

27': We start an attack in midfield and Constantino sees an opening... their DR is further back than the rest of their line... Constantino sprints ahead, receives a ball and he's into the area quickly... but the keeper makes a great one on one save.

32': They earn a corner, their star striker Stancu goes down in the area... and gets a yellow for a dive.

41': A counter attack after we win a ball in the midfield... Bennett to Constantino to Gordon to Khan, 3 quick passes, Khan receives the ball in the penalty area and quickly shoots, beating the keeper!! 1-0

HALF: We look really great today, we gave up one scary looking shot but otherwise play really well. We shoot 8 times, they shoot 4 times. We've got 4 on target, they have 2. We've got a 54/46 possession edge. We're winning all our tackles but they're heading a lot better.

54': Bryan Bennett is such a stud!! They are trying to get their offense going... Bennett blocks a pass in the midfield, chases down the loose ball and from the midfield plays a perfect ball 30 yards ahead for Matthew Khan who instantly drives it by the keeper for his second goal! Bennett totally made all of that happen, beautiful stuff. 2-0

62': They have a corner, we head it out, they head it back in... and Berthet tackles the man going for the ball in the area. They drill the penalty, what an awful awful way to let them back in the match. 2-1

66': Berthet with a yellow for a tackle in midfield.

70': Bruce is in at DC, we pull out Gordon and go for 5 defenders. Coutts in for Paulo at DMC.

74': We give up a corner... they take it into the 6 yard box and we react awfully. Their man Nixon heads it in. 2-2

85': Constantino comes in with a tackle from behind and gets a yellow. They get a free kick about 40 yards out, crossing it in but we clear.

We really let a win get away here, but in the end we get a draw on the road and can't complain about that.
