So Feb has been a tough weight loss month for me. After getting down to about 179 (down ten pounds from max) I hit a wall for a few weeks. I wanted to be at 175 for my birthday just because it seemed like a nice even number, but recognized I would probably have to make a couple of sacrifices to do so.

1.) Portion control - applied this to breakfast as well (didn't realize how many calories were in OJ!) as dinner and more strictly across the board
2.) Introducing some lifting to cardio workouts (treadmill)
3.) No booze for the final two weeks

Early results are promising, as I'm now down to about 176.5 after not being able to move the needle for three or so weeks. It was also nice when I was shopping for pants last weekend that I could look at stuff in a 33" waist again - would like to get back to the 32" stuff that I have in my closet by this summer.
