We learned something interesting yesterday. The meet this weekend is expected to have about a thousnd swimmers all in all. It's got a part 10 and under and one that's 11 and up. Because of this, Matthew's coach told my wife that the 11-12 finals will be split in 2, finals for 11yo and finals for 12yo. Matthew being 11 years, 11 months old, he is in a really good spot to bring in a few medals. Yeah, for fly he's seeded among the top of the 11-12 category but for some other events, he was seeded like 10 to 13th so just borderline to make the final. Now, as an 11yo, he comes in seeded at 3rd to 5th in most events. Really looking forward to this meet.
