Summer Swim League – GRPA State Championship
So the meet started out for us with the event that has the best shot of competing for the state championship – Bailey’s medley relay. The team was the fastest seeded team in the second heat…and the race was over early. Maddie (swimming back), opened a huge lead on the opening leg. The Breast swimmer opened it up a bit, then Bailey swam a strong 15.2 split in her Fly to open up the lead, and the freestyler touched the wall a good half pool ahead of everyone else. The time was

At the end of the 4th and final heat, the Forsyth County Tide (FCT) A relay posted the fastest time in qualifying, and would be heading into the afternoon finals as the #1 seed.
