Summer Swim League – GRPA State Championship – FINALS
The next race was Bailey’s 25 fly final. She got a better start this time, but fatigue was a bit of a factor at this point. She looked good and strong, but she was only a hair faster…she posted a 15.68. That’s .01 faster than her preliminary time, and she came in seeded 7th and finished 7th…

Finally, we end the meet with Bailey’s 100 Free Relay.
The leadoff leg swims well, but not as fast as she did in preliminaries…her split was around a 14.7
The second leg was way off, and any chance Bailey’s team had hoped for to challenge for a higher placed finish was gone. The second legs split was 15.9+
Bailey sway a pretty good 14.8+
And the anchor was in the 14.6 range.
All in all the team swam basically where I expected they would in qualifying. ..1:00.37
This placed them 7th overall…
