Free Agency

We have the following targets:

QB Craig Morton - Signed
WR Jack Clancy - Signed
DE Jim Riley - Signed
NT Steve Chomyszak - Signs with CHI
MLB Lonnie Warwick - Signed
CB Eddie Meador - Signs with NE
CB Pete Jaquess - Signed

Draft

We sit at the bottom of the draft order. At the top of the draft boards are QB Terry Bradshaw. There's some good depth at LB and CB/S.

Our needs are:

QB, TE, LT, CB

At 32th the following players are interesting:

T Bob Asher
DE Al Cowlings
S Al Matthews

We choose Bob Asher as he fits a need and we honestly aren't sold on the other 2 players.

This draft simply does not fall in our lap. We select OLB Dave Washington with the 2.32 pick. Simply because the other players are owrse ;-)

3.32 - Stu Voigt, TE
4.32 - Rusty Tillman, ILB
5.32 - Eddie Bell, WR
6.32 - Doug Chmura, DT
7.32 - Bill Johnson, P
