maybe if you play it with someone you know you'll start enjoying it, who knows.
As for wasting my time, no worries. The turn based style of the game is pretty well done. A game with you if you don't play would simply stay there in my list of online games. There are no limits between turns but you get a push notification when it's your turn, and the app's badge shows a number that I assume is how many games that you're in that it's your turn to play.
