Well aware that I gave up good value for Smith. BUUUT
IMO Ron Storms is playing over his head right now ( last three years two of them he had negative VORP ) AND he only has two arbitration years left of his contract.
Tom Ray there is NO room for him. I have 4 other YOUNG OF that are better then him with younger ones in my farm behind him. Need to move him before he is lost.
Needed to move these players now and get a really good young reliever that should be a huge part of my bullpen for the next 5+ years.
