Here's some more interesting info.
Dan Bemish was a high school senior DE from Ohio committed to Ohio State. When Hayes was fired he decided to look around and ended up at Clemson and played an integral role on the 81 national championship team.
But wait there is more....
Mitch Hyatt is Dan's nephew. Mitch's mom raised Dan as a single parent and Dan was his father figure. Mitch also ended up at Clemson and is currently starting his 4th year at LT...including of course 2016 Clemson's only other National Championship...
