-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With twenty teams in action and 21 goals scored, the best viewing was to be found at Craven Cottage where a crowd of 25661 witnessed a shock result during Fulham's 1 - 0 victory over Man Utd.
Elsewhere, Antonio Cassano scored a long range effort which took a deflection during Tottenham's 0 - 1 defeat against Chelsea and 42640 watched Aston Villa's 1 - 3 defeat against Arsenal where Robin van Persie scored the pick of the goals with a powerful effort.

Liverpool have extended their unbeaten record in the Premier Division to twelve games following their 0 - 0 result against Manchester City. Winning the league title is getting closer and closer to becoming a reality for The Reds. They have looked unbeatable recently and must be confident that they will still be top of the league when the season draws to a close.
Reina has now played 347 minutes without conceding a goal.

Liverpool's Jamie Carragher has told icLiverpool.co.uk of his disappointment that he will miss the European Champions Cup First Knockout Round against Real Madrid C.F. on February 17th through injury. Instead of taking to the field against Los Merengues, Carragher will be forced to watch his team-mates from the stands.
