The jerseys actually were made up by a design firm after Buffalo put the word out that they were looking to modernize the old logo and colour scheme.
Reebok is currently working on the logo and colour scheme now and it is no secret that the Sabres brass wants to go back to the blue and gold next year. The guy doing the work for Reebok is supposedly a huge Sabres fan (I didn't know there were others!
) and really is keen on utilzing the old logo in some way.
I absolutely LOVE this design: the logo, colour scheme, everything. If they go with something like this, they will get A LOT of sales.
