We'll be without WR Ronnie Wheeler and CB Tyrell Lyons for the game this week due to injuries.
Well, it comes down to the last game of our regular season in a showdown for the PAC-10 championship with our arch-rival UCLA again. We're playing the worst football we have since I came to USC 7 years ago.
Maybe that's a good omen?
Who knows. I don't think there's really anything to fix on this team. It's the same offense that got us off to an 8-0 start. We just lost a game we shouldn't have to Arizona and faced a far superior Notre Dame team. We'll go with what got us here and hope Malcolm Moreno and Junior Coffey can turn it around and win it for us.
On the recruiting front we landed Buddy Reed, an 85+ cornerback from Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, New York. That leaves one recruiting spot open and we have one scholarship offer outstanding.
Academically there was one D- this quarter and a few D's. I allocated coaching blocs to all of those players and hopefully those grades will come up. I have some coaching blocs reserved for 4th quarter grades.
We had nothing again this week as we got smoked 49-21.
We finish 2nd in the PAC-10 again. After being brutally outcoached these last three games, might be time for me to move on. Great recruiting class after great recruiting class and I can't seem to get over the hump.
God what a disaster the last three weeks were.

We'll be heading to the Liberty Bowl to play the Maryland Terrapins. Never been so depressed to get a bowl bid in my entire coaching career.
William Sutton, a 79+ defensive end from Dickinson High School in Dickinson, North Dakota, signed a letter of intent to play for us next season. That fills up our recruiting class for this year.
