Sheesh! Can't I keep anyone healthy? Salva sustained two fractured ribs in training today. He will miss a few weeks. Besides Rooney, this is my biggest loss. I need to get another great DC.

The board called me in and said they are "satisfied" with my performance. They couldn't fire me after all I've done. Could they?

Alfonso has returned to full training.

Aaron Lennon of West Ham has won the EPL Player of the Month. Jose Antonio Reyes of Arsenal came in 2nd, and Nick Davies of West Ham came in 3rd.

Gary Burke of Arsenal has won the EPL Young Player of the Month. Burke is an impressive looking 17 year old right back. Paul Simpson of Derby came in 2nd and Dave Russell of West Ham came in 3rd.

Arsenal's Antonio Lopez has won the EPL Manager of the month. Stuart Baxter of West Ham came in 2nd, and no one came in 3rd?!?
