Group 15

Week 10

UTEP- 76, St. Louis- 65
Rutgers- 69, IUPUI- 64
USC Upstate- 59, Tennessee Tech- 51

Final Group 15 standings:

#1- Rutgers 9-1 (+62)
#2- UTEP 6-4 (+37)
#3- St. Louis 6-4 (+15)
#4- USC Upstate 4-6 (-17)
#5- Tennessee Tech 3-7 (-59)
#6- IUPUI 2-8 (-38)

Rutgers wins the group easily, and with their 9-1 record may sneak into a top 25 or 30 seed, even though their point differential for a 9-1 team is not very good. UTEP finishes second, as they won both games against St. Louis. The 6-4 record looks good, especially since they have one of the higher point differentials among the 6-4 second place teams. St. Louis becomes the first ranked team not to be guaranteed a spot in the round of 128, as they'll have to sweat it out in the wildcard race. Right now, they are in a comfortable position with their 6-4 record, but there are still A LOT of groups to go. And poor TX Arlington, after all that tiebreaking they had to go through after the last group, has met their match. With St. Louis jumping into wildcard contention, TX Arlington will be going back home, as they are now officially eliminated. This makes Nebraska the next team on the chopping block. Here are those wildcard standings through group 15:

N.C. Central 7-3 (+63)
E. Michigan 7-3 (+50)
Iona 6-4 (+116)
Vermont 6-4 (+43)
#15 St. Louis 6-4 (+15)
N. Florida 6-4 (+9)
Pacific 5-5 (+14)
Buffalo 5-5 (+4)
W. Michigan 5-5 (+1)
Delaware 5-5 (-7)
St. Francis (NY) 5-5 (-8)
Nebraska 5-5 (-9)
TX Arlington 5-5 (-11) ELIMINATED
McNeese St. 5-5 (-11) ELIMINATED
Wagner 5-5 (-20) ELIMINATED
