Attendance Record Broken
-- Another year, another attendance record broken, with our average of 22,652 breaking last year’s record of 22,469. As said many times, we could definitely use a new stadium but my owner won’t budge.
Barclays Premier League Odds for 2026-27
-- Manchester City are once again made favourites to take home the Premier League title with 7-4 odds given by Bwin. For a third consecutive year, Tottenham are the second choice at 5-2, United is third at 5-1 and we are expected to finish fourth with odds of 6-1, the best odds we’ve ever been given. The other top teams are Liverpool at 16-1 and Chelsea at 20-1.
World Cup Update
-- Renato Gaucho earns his third career cap for Spain in a 4-0 win over Uzbekistan but Spain is eliminated from the competition after finishing 3rd in their group. Argentina moves on and both Rodolfo Lopez and Claudio Contreras take part in their 1-0 win over Canada. Salim Loucif captains Algeria to a shock 1-0 win over Jose and Brazil.
Loaned Players Return
-- Our loaned out players all return to Dover, including Felix Hernandez, Emerson and Alberto Velazquez. Hernandez and Emerson may be loaned out again while I’ll look to sell Velazquez, who has been surpassed by many others on our striker depth chart.
