Manager Update

The decision to go with Williams appears to be a good one, as he pitches a gem and goes to 6 and 1. But any good-feelings have following the game are tempered because we go from playing the Twos (a below average team) to playing the Ones (a team that last I checked was in first place in the other division). This will be a much different test for us, and one quite frankly we need to do well in. We've dominated the below average clubs - 9 and 1 vs Japan and 7 and 1 vs the Twos, but the good teams are beating our brains in (and the Ones are a good team).

One thing we have going for us...the Ones have some very dangerous LH bats...Lloyd, Charleston, Torriente, and Leonard, and while their RH hitters Wells, DiHigo and Gibson are good - only Gibson is dominating (Bell is a switch hitter and Stearnes is hurt). We will be throwing our 2 big lefties against them in the first 2 games of thes series. Hopefully that will pay off. Nielsen gets the ball tonight, followed by Mighty...right now I'm leaning towards skipping Babson for 1 start and working in Hunter, but Let's see what happens in the first 2 games.
