I'm inclined to agree with you. We _know_ which way NKs will count (for parity, at least--they could catch the sorc, hence my modQ). Lynches can run the gamut, though, so I think they're worth more information on the margin.
Then again, we might find that a very interesting day/night sequence makes it potentially rewarding to check the NK... But I'd lean toward the priest viewing daytime targets, I think.
