I need to order Star Forts next to Somalia in Egypt and Africa. What I need to do is install the infrastructure on borders with Somalia to enable an aggressive war while holding the fort, much like we did with our Inhambane defenses in wars against Kongo and Kilwa and Kazmebe where they wasted time sieging it while I summoned defenders like mercs or sent over an army to help
These have upkeep costs attached. Right now I am spending upkeep on defenses monthly of a massive 95 . So in order to keep my costs roughly equal, I’ll destroy Castle/Bastion/Star Forts in some internal places to make this work.
