Swim with Dad - @ GaTech – RESULTS

Bailey
100 Brst - 1:50.29 – her breast is starting to get much better. She swam a 1:37.77. This will pay huge dividends down the road, especially in the IMs if she can keep up this improved form.
200 Back - 2:52.62 – Dropped a couple seconds 2:50.06 – wasn’t terribly pleased with it. She was hoping for better. She earned a state cut anyway...
100 Bfly - 1:17.02 – 1:15.89 – a nice drop from just about a month ago. Still breathed too much, and she knows it too.
400 IM - 6:04.83 – over 10 second drop…5:54.60…unfortunately, her touch on the breast to free turn didn’t register, so I don’t have that split
200 Bfly - 2:53.83 – In this race Bailey was next to an 18 year old boy. She had two 16 year old boys and three 16 year old girls, and several 15 year olds in her heat. She definitely tired as she had a couple of long deliberate strokes in order to rest…but she still managed to drop 3.6 seconds. She finished with a 2:50.15…and in case you were wondering. She beat the 18 year old…(in fact, she finished third in the heat). This swim was good enough for the 13 year old cut...
100 Back - 1:19.95 – Added time here 1:20.60…I think this is from fatigue.
50 Bfly – 37.37 – Dropped 3 seconds…34.31…said she had more time to drop. Needs to clean up a couple of things. Has begged coach to put her in it at the next meet. Only .02 from the cut...
800 Free – Did Not Get In
