2017-2018 National Awards

Michigan State had the NCAA Freshman of the Year, as well as 1 player on the NCAA All-Freshman Team, and 1 player on the All-NCAA 1st Team.

UCLA had 1 player on the All-NCAA 1st Team and 1 player on the All-NCAA 2nd Team.

Kentucky had 1 player on the All-NCAA 3rd Team.

2017-2018 Conference Awards

Hartford had 1 player on the America East 2nd Team, and 1 player on the America East All-Freshman Team.

ECU had 1 player on the American 1st Team and 1 player on the American All-Freshman Team.

Tulsa had 1 player on the American 1st Team and 1 player on the American 2nd Team.

Davidson had 1 player on the Atlantic 10 2nd Team.

No awards for Clemson.

Duke had 1 player on the ACC 2nd Team and 1 player on the ACC All-Freshman Team.

Kansas had 2 players on the Big 12 1st Team, 1 player on the Big 12 2nd Team, and 1 player on the Big 12 All-Freshman Team.

No awards for TCU.

Michigan had 1 player on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.

Michigan State had both the Big Ten Player of the Year and Big Ten Freshman of the Year, as well as having 1 player on the Big Ten 1st Team and 1 player on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.

Northwestern had 2 players on the Big Ten 1st Team.

Hawaii had 2 players on the Big West 2nd Team and 1 player on the Big West All-Freshman Team.

No awards for Charlotte.

Rice head coach Charlie Shocker was named Conference USA Coach of the Year, and well deserved. The Owls also had 1 player on the Conference USA 1st Team, 1 player on the Conference USA 2nd Team, and 1 player on the Conference USA All-Freshman Team.

Monmouth had 1 player on the MAAC 2nd Team and 1 player on the MAAC All-Freshman Team.

No awards for Norfolk State.

Colorado had 2 players on the Pac 12 2nd Team.

Stanford had 1 player on the Pac 12 1st Team and 1 player on the Pac 12 2nd Team.

UCLA again cleaned up on the awards. For the 2nd straight year, head coach Tim Shepard was named Pac 12 Coach of the Year. The Bruins also had the Pac 12 Player of the Year, as well as having 2 players on the Pac 12 1st Team and 1 player on the Pac 12 2nd Team.

No awards for Washington State.

In what might be considered a bit of a surprise, Alabama head coach Roy Rogers was named SEC Coach of the Year. Congrats on an unexpected award! The Crimson Tide also had 1 player on the SEC 2nd Team.

Despite another great season, Florida was shut out on the awards.

Kentucky cleaned up. I mean really cleaned up. The Wildcats had the SEC Player of the Year, the SEC Freshman of the Year, 2 players on the SEC 1st Team, 1 player on the SEC 2nd Team, and 2 players on the SEC All-Freshman Team. Wow!

Troy had 1 player on the Sun Belt 2nd Team.
