I thought I had a character who could finish a battle because he was behind a barricade, forgot that that wasn't the type that he could use for attacking from behind the front row, took a ton of damage
(ended up selling that book, and that was the one "frivolous" expense that I allowed myself)

I am AWFUL at this game, I got the concepts of Slay the Spire pretty quickly but I just can't get my head around this one, even the bosses on the first map. I just can't figure out when you have a guy who can add 8-10 armor in one round how to do enough damage while also protecting myself against the goons.
