Both defensive units play very well as Halifax puts themselves into a great position to take the wild card spot. Ottawa will undoubtedly be doing soul searching in the off-season, they walked away from the smash mouth philosophy that won them 2 championships and have little to show for it. Avis Short has been relegated to bystander mode for much of the year.
