2024-25 Barclays Premier League - Team Stats

-- Interestingly enough, despite finishing seven points lower than last year, our overall stats are closer than I would have expected, especially missing the lethal Paul Moses for most of the year. We again were the the top scoring team in the Premier League, with 102 goals coming up only five short of last year’s Premier League record total. Man United finished in second with 85. We drop to fourth in goals against, giving up 37 versus 32 last year - Man United were the leaders this year with only 25 goals allowed. Once again, we lead the league in goal differential with a +65 mark after going +75 last year. United were close behind this year at +60.

-- Our average attendance continues to rise, up to 22,624 in the league, up from last year’s average of 21,399. Keep in mind that our stadium only holds 23,000. We LEAD THE LEAGUE in Average Attendance by Capacity at 98% (up from 93% last year and 78% the year before) and also led the league in stadium sellouts with 16 in our 19 matches! Great numbers!! Now, if we could only convince our board to build a new stadium…GRRR.

-- Other key team stats: we were T-9th in penalty goals with only 3(down from 6 last year…definitely due to the absence of Paul Moses), 1st in goals from corners with 21 (down from 27 last year, which also led the league), 1st in goals from IFK's with 11 (up from 9 last year when we finished T-2nd) and we were T1st in goals from DFKs with 3 (up from 2 last year). We continue to be among the most gentlemanly clubs in the league, finishing T-18th with 47 yellow cards (up from last year’s total of 42 which was also 18th) while our red card tally was ZERO for a second consecutive year, which tied us with Sheffield United as the only two teams without a red card in the league. Very, very impressive numbers once again.

2024-25 Barclays Premier League - Player Stats

-- 19 players participated in all 38 games across the league but none of them were from our club, as we continue to rotate our squad due to cup ties and continental play. Our league “iron-man” didn’t even finish in the top 100, as both Chiquinho and Jose tied for the lead with appearances in 31 of our 38 league games. That’s a lot of squad rotating!!!
