At the top of the league, BC and NC State are now both 11-2 with 3 games to go. They play each other in their next game. NC State has the edge after that, their final two games are against Miami and Wake Forest. BC still has to play top 25 Va Tech.
In our neck of the woods, ie mediocrity land, Wake is 5-8, UNc 5-9, FSU 5-9. Ga Tech is 3-10, Miami 3-11 and UVA is just awful, 1-12. We still have a shot to finish 7th in the league, and 8th/9th seems like a good possibility.
Next up for us is Wake Forest. Excactly where we finish doesn't really matter but the possibility of finishing 7th would feel like a big overachievement for this team. Though really that is more due to UNC sucking it up in conference play than us playing really well
