Well, it's starting out cold, with a low of 33, just missing freezing (whew!) but is going to be a frigid 67 today

Seriously, tho, the forecast for ice overnight Thursday into the Friday commute for Houston is still there. If that happens, I'm staying home, cuing up the Yakkity Sax, and watching the local news all morning as there will be literally hundreds of accidents in Houston as that's what always happens if there's ice. We have these things called overpasses and not little ones but 200' up in the air. City's built for heat and flooding not ice.

That said, it almost never materializes. A couple of days out, it's at 60% and 30% but the confluence of events required for it to be cold enough to freeze but warm enough to precipitate is really rare.
