EVENT 1 - 100 Meters - Heat 2

The runners enter the blocks, they get set the gun sounds and they're off. A clean start and a bunching of the runners. They are so tight it's hard to tell who's actually leading. By the midway point things begin to take shape. Kappe is out in front followed by Ivanov. The rest are still tightly bunched, except for Nights who's a full step behind the second group of runners.

As Kappe is finishing Eckberg and Soldier begin to fall behind Gunner, Elli, and Cat.

The final order of finish is:

Kappe - 1st
Ivanov - 2nd
Elli, Gunner, and Cat right on Ivanov's heals for 3rd
Eckberg and Soldier
Nights brings up the rear

I'll have to wait on the official time, but I believe Kappe is just off the pace set by Babson and Mello, but Nights is well in front of Palmers time. In fact, I believe Nights broke 11 seconds.
