This is the part where I note that I'm in favor of the 2nd Amendment being revised based on it being archaic, and it certainly can have limitations placed on it(even
Heller said as much). The suggested prohibitively-expensive license would definitely violate the spirit of 'shall not be infringed' under any sensible definition.
