Sorry for the delay, holiday weekend and all. Here is the update.

Regular season review
The regular season has concluded, and we did better than I ever could have hoped. I had hoped that we would win 10 games this season, and that we would make the playoffs. We did far better than that. We had the best record in club history. The whole city is ecstatic. Everyone loves the team and there are dreams of Super Bowl Championships dancing in everyone's heads. With a Power Rating of 90, we are the highest rated team in the NFL. The one area of concern is Tampa Bay. They were the only team to beat us this season, and there is a lot of fear that we could lose to them a third time this season. We have, quite simply, the best defense to ever play the game. At 9.5 points per game we are nearly 2 points better than any other team in the history of the NFL, and that has been the secret to our success. We had the best rushing defense, as well as having the 3rd best passing defense in the league. On 3rd downs, no one was better than we were, and we forced more turnovers than anyone else in the league. Our offence did not do too poorly either. We were 5th in third down conversions and 11th in scoring. We didn't pass the ball much, but we did have some success when we did go to the air, ranking 10 in yards per attempt (though we were last in total yards)

Leland had a decent season. He again set new records for rushing attempts (636) and rushing yards in a season (2376), and he led the NFL with 15 rushing TDs. His 5 fumbles this year is an incredible improvement over his performances the last several years (actually, every year). But his 3.73 yard average was very disappointing. Late in the year it looked like he might be able to get that figure up over 4, but in the last several games he was not able to put up a high average, in spite of his gaudy rushing totals. I have to wonder if things would have been different had we had all of our offensive line in healthy all year.

As we head into the post season, we have very few injuries. As you may recall, two starters on the offensive line are on IR, but other than that, all key players are 100%.
