-Pre-Show Dark Match
Jose Lothario drew with Doug Somers in 10:00 when the time limit expired. (D+). Somers was limited by his continuing migrane issue. Before the match, lord Alfred Hayes interviewed both Lothario (E+), and Somers (E).

-Pre-Show Dark Segment
Lord Alfred Hayes interviewed Al Perez about his upcoming match on the main show with Terry Gordy. (D+)

-Terry Gordy defeated Al Perez in 6:24 by submission. (C). After the match, Gordy cut a promo about his return to WCCW. He also expresses some disgust about the current state of the Freebirds. He says that if Jimmy Garvin and Buddy Roberts knew what was good for them, they might just leave Michael Hayes and reform the Freebirds with Gordy (C+)

-Ricky Morton hyped his upcoming match with Bob Backlund. (C) Bob Backlund cut a promo as well. He says regrets selling the world title to Hayes, and that when he wins the title again at the King of Texas Wrestling show, no living soul will ever be able to pry it away from him.

-Bob Backlund defeated Ricky Morton in 14:35 by submission. (B-)

-Buddy Roberts comes to the ring for his scheduled match, and again apologizes for the injury that Mike Von Erich suffered a few months back, and also expresses disgust at the recent attacks on Mike. (C)

-Roddy Piper defeats Buddy Roberts in 10:59 by submission. (B+). Roberts was doing his "disingenuous babyface" shtick during the match, but neither Piper nor the fans were buying it. After the match, Bill Mercer comes to the ring to attempt to interview Piper, he also announces that a Piper v. Adonis match has been signed to the Last Man Standing event. (D+). Piper tells Mercer he doesn't need any help with the interview, and kicks him out of the ring. Then he cuts a promo of his own, running down Adonis. (C)

-David & Kevin Von Erich hyped their upcoming tag team match against Bundy & Adias. (D+)

-David & Kevin Von Erich defeat King Kong Bundy & Brian Adias in 9:16 when David pinned Adias. (C+)

-Tiger Mask came to the ring and hyped his main event match tonight, as well as his mask v. mask match at Last Man Standing against Villano III. (C-)

-Tiger Mask defeated Michael Hayes in 14:41 by DQ when Hayes turned Tiger Mask's mask around and hit him with a chair. (B+)

Overall Show Rating: B-

THOUGHTS

-A very solid show in the southeast region. We used more big stars than I wanted to, and the show was a big financial loss, I'm sure, but it'll be another small step forward in Southeast popularity.

-This was Tiger Mask's first ever main event slot for us in the U.S., and he delivers with a B+ in an odd pairing with Michael Hayes.

-It was pretty shocking to see a D+ promo from David and Kevin. David's pretty popular in the southeast now, after I've used him in so many main event matches here, but Kevin is still pretty unknown, so I guess that brought the rating down.

-In Piper's 10th match with us, he reaches B+ for only the second time. The southeast is one of Piper's 3 or 4 top regions (unfortunately, Texas still isn't in that list)
