-If there were a WCCW Most Improvement Wrestler award over the last year, this would be the winner. He still has a long way to go, but he's only 20 years old. He's very close to reaching the midcard, and will continue to benefit from the inherent advantages of being a Von Erich - a ton of ring time, the chance to work both with and against more experienced wrestlers on a regular basis, and the chance to take part in big angles.

25. Brian Adias
26 years old, $450/show, 5 months remaining
WCCW Record: 25-32-2
Skill Increases:
2/3 Letter Grade: Submissions, Puro, Hardcore, Chain Wrestling, Mic Skills, Acting, Psychology, Selling
Full Letter Grade: Mic Skills, Charisma
More than 1 Full Letter Grade: Respect

-Adias is the heel version of Mike Von Erich - young, green, and pushed a little beyond his ability. And like Mike, he's also improved a lot over the last year. Adias was a central part of the high-profile "Manny Fernandez Bounty" angle, but hasn't done too much since then. He'll continue to get a ton of ring time, and has a chance to be the 1st ever WCCW Cruiserweight Champion, once we introduce that title.

-With an eye towards cutting costs and making a profit in the next few months, guys like Brian and Mike (and their cheap paychecks) will have a huge chance to be more involved with shows.

26. Tommy Rodgers
25 years old, $500/show, 3 months remaining
WCCW Record: 4-24-1
Skill Increases:
2/3 Letter Grade: Respect
Full Letter Grade: None
More than 1 Full Letter Grade: None
Tex Popularity: D-

Southeast Popularity: D-

-It's quite glaring that Rodgers has improved very little over the last year. As a result, he'll be lucky to stay even this high on the roster. I had thought about teaming him with Ricky Morton, but that wouldn't be fair to Morton. An Owen Hart/Tommy Rodgers team makes more sense.

27. Frank Dusek
37 years old, $575/show, 5 months remaining
WCCW Record: 13-36-8
Skill Increases:
2/3 Letter Grade: Hardcore, Aerial, Flashiness, Puro, Charisma
Full Letter Grade: None
More than 1 Full Letter Grade: None
Tex Popularity: D
Midwest Popularity: D
Southeast Popularity: E-

-With all the changes in WCCW over the last year, it's hard to believe this guy has stuck around. But he's still in decent physical shape, and he might be in line for a (minor) push over the next few months as I try to save money. He's also in a semi-regular team with Doug Somers.

28. Doug Somers
27 years old, $325/show, 6 1/2 months remaining
WCCW Record: 0-6-2
Skill Increases:
2/3 Letter Grade: None
Full Letter Grade: None
More than 1 Full Letter Grade: None
Tex Popularity: E-
Midwest Popularity: D-
Southeast Popularity: F+

-Doug moves up to the lower midcard this month, even though he hasn't won a match yet. At a mere $325/show, and now that he's healthy, he'll stumble into a few wins in the near future.

-He's improved even less than Tommy Rodgers over the last year, but he's been used a lot less because of his migrane issues, so he has an excuse.
