Lord Alfred Hayes interviewed Owen Hart about his upcoming dark match with Villano IV. (D-). He then interviewed Villano IV about the match. (E)

-Pre-Show Dark Match
Owen Hart & Villano IV drew in 10:00 when the time limit expired. (D+) The two showed poor chemistry.

-Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts come out to start the show. They say that Michael Hayes is running late, but that Hayes and Gordy will team up to face David and Kevin Von Erich tonight in the show's main event. Gordy and Roberts put over the unity of the Freebirds, and hype that tonight is the beginning of a new era in WCCW. Mike Von Erich comes to the ring to confront the duo. He says that he's back from his injury, and is ready to get some revenge on Buddy Roberts, the guy who put him out initially. Mike is mocked by Gordy and Roberts. (C-)

-The Great Kabuki defeats Super Kendo in 7:47 by pinfall. (C+).

-Fritz Von Erich comes out to the ring to say that Mike Von Erich v. Buddy Roberts is now scheduled for tonight. And further, the winner of that match will get a spot in the WCCW Heavyweight Championship Tournament at the end of the month, joining Terry Gordy, Michael Hayes, David Von Erich, and Bob Backlund. (C)

-Brian Adias defeats Tommy Rodgers in 7:39 by pinfall. (D). The two showed poor chemistry. After the match, Adias cut a promo about his win. (D)

-Lord Alfred Hayes interviews Mike Von Erich about his upcoming match with Buddy Roberts. Mike says he still doesn't now who attacked him in the dressing room last month, but he does know that Buddy Roberts was the one who put him out originally. He's hoping for some revenge tonight, and for a chance to get into the World Title Tournament. (C-)

-WCCW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Qualifying Match
Buddy Jack Roberts defeats Mike Von Erich in 7:31 by pinfall to qualify for the tournament. (D+) Roberts was limited by his injury. Mike was tiring towards the end of the match.

-Skandor Akbar comes to the ring with The Sheepherders, and then grabs a mic and hypes their dominance in the WCCW tag team ranks. (C+)

-WCCW World Tag Team Championship Match
The Sheepherders defeat Iceman Parsons & Buddy Landell in 9:54 when Miller pinned Parsons. (C-). The Sheepherders make their 3rd defense of the tag team titles. Buddy Landell was limited by injury.

-David and Kevin Von Erich came to the ring to hype their upcoming main event match. They say they're disappointed with the actions of Kerry at Last Man Standing, and that they haven't seen him since. As big as a distraction as that is for their family, they claim they're ready to take on the Freebirds all the same. (C+)

-Michael Hayes & Terry Gordy defeat David & Kevin Von Erich in 20:52 when Gordy pinned Kevin, after interference from Buddy Roberts. (B-)

THOUGHTS:

-Not a good show, but it was pretty cheap, and once again, the goal this month is to turn a profit.

-The show got off to bad start when I accidentally put Mike Von Erich in the opening segment, instead of Michael Hayes. So I improvised, but it surely cost us that first segment rating.

-Nothing else really went very well, though the main event was good enough to salavage the night from being a disaster.

-Buddy Roberts, Buddy Landell, and Ted Dibiase are all working through injuries right now, so I'll try to limit their in-ring time as much as I can.

-This show is the start of the Von Erichs' slump, and Freebirds' hot streak.
