Gold Team Update
Received the following in an email yesterday, figured I'd share...
1) Jackie Hill, one of our stand-out CM National swimmers was recently ranked number 1 in the nation for her age group in the 200 breast. Great job Jackie!
2) Joining Jackie were two more swimmers from the CM National Group, Katherine and Caroline Aikins, all of whom attended their first ever Senior National Championship in North Carolina. Another Gold swimmer, Lauren Case, of our WS site, was the 18-U National Champion in both the 100 and 200 butterfly.
3) CM greatly contributed to our strong performance at SR State. Gold scored the most points ever, finishing third overall, with the male high point winner, and the runner-up female high point winner.
4) Overall, Gold had the highest percentage of best times of the major teams in the meet, thanks in large part to the strong swims of our CM SR and National Groups. Thanks to Charles and his staff for their hard work to help make this happen!
4) We had a large number of outstanding swims at the Marconi Invite last weekend! With these last two meets uploaded to the USA database, Chattahoochee Gold ends the calendar year ranked 22nd in the country - our highest year end ranking ever! We still have a lot of work to do, but I believe we’re on our way to becoming the best team in the country!
