Continental League Picks Best Starter in July

Apex had an outstanding July with a 4-0 mark and was chosen the Pitcher of the Month in the Continental League.
He topped off the month with a 1.00 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 36 innings, fanned 29 and held opposing teams to a .155 average.
Cowan has posted a 7-4 record for the year with a 2.57 ERA. Teams are hitting .215 against him and he has rung up 130 strikeouts in 143.1 innings.
