Rookie Swinger Scores Big in July

The premier first-year player in the Continental League last month was
Bob Carswell.
Halifax's left fielder put up some big-time numbers in July to haul in the Rookie of the Month Award.
Carswell hit at a .346 clip while collecting 5 home runs, 19 RBIs and scoring 15 runs in 23 games.
So far in 2211 Carswell is batting .269 with 13 home runs, 53 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 97 hits in 360 at-bats and a .350 OBP.
