CL Names Lynn Best Rookie

It might be just his first year in the league, but
Christian Lynn is playing like he's been here before. The
Noblesville left fielder rang up some lofty numbers in the last 30 days and snagged the Continental League Rookie of the Month Award.
In August he hit .389 with 5 home runs and 21 hits. He walked 3 times and compiled a .421 on-base percentage, scored 11 times and drove in 11.
This year
Lynn has hit at a .288 pace and produced 39 RBIs, 17 home runs and scored 36 runs.

What a fantastic August it was for
Tim Bulger! The
Hartford right fielder battered Republic League hurlers for a .362 batting average as he easily claimed the Rookie of the Month Award.
He tallied 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 24 runs scored in the month-long assault. Bulger also had 9 walks for a .423 on-base percentage.
If he continues to outpace the rookie class like this, he could very well be the 2211 Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award winner.
Bulger is currently batting .296 with 15 home runs, 55 RBIs and 74 runs scored. He has 123 hits in 416 at-bats.
