I think it says a lot about college football too that this guy's concerned that other schools will say, "ya, we'd like to give him a coaching job here but he came forward about that child raper over at Penn St - we can't have a guy like that here digging up our secrets."
And he seems like an intelligent enough guy, he's won promotions, etc - maybe that was a realistic fear (even if it shouldn't have been his priority, obviously). For every incident that we hear about, there must be all kinds of stuff we never do.
