That totally depends on your play style and the game has many options for you to choose from. For example, I play on full 15 minutes but I use the accelerated clock with the 17 seconds setting. This gets me very reasonable stats and number of plays. But you can adjust that combo to whatever you want based on your style. For example, if you prefer less minutes, then reduce that but then also adjust your acceleration (or even turn off).
You should be able to find something that fits your style....
