Carlos Martínez has created some waves by winning May's Continental League Batter of the Month title today.
He put up a solid .379 batting average with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He also worked CL pitchers for 12 walks and a .438 on-base percentage.
If he keeps churning out numbers like these, the 28-year-old is sure to draw some attention, when contract time rolls around.
