Last Step on the Moon Spectacular - RESULTS

Brett had his first flat meet of the year...up until now he's posted several personal bests at meets, but not this time. However, for the most part he didn't swim terribly, in fact, most times were in the neighborhood of his personal best. Not sure how much staying at the high school meet on Friday and getting to bed late impacted his overall performance, but regardless here is how he did:

# 16 (d2/s2): B 15 & Over 200 Free (2:05.30Y ) - looked good, much better than he looked in the high school meet a week before. Didn't quite get a personal best finishing in 2:05.80

# 32 (d2/s2): B 15 & Over 100 Breast (1:12.60Y ) - Good swim, was just off his personal best pace on both 50s resulting in a slight add - 1:13.35

# 42 (d2/s3): B 11 & Over 400 Medley (5:02.68Y ) - Fly looked so much better, but unfortunately it was slower than it has been recently. Not sure the disconnect, other than he probably doesn't swim/race fly enough. His 100 fly was around a 1:18...his best has been in the 1:14s...so that 4 seconds cost him overall. He finished at 5:07.00

# 82 (d3/s5): B 15 & Over 100 Free (58.56Y ) - just off again - 59.24

# 94 (d3/s5): B 15 & Over 200 Breast (2:34.31Y ) - like the 100 breast was slightly behind on all splits. The biggest gap was the last 50, where he seemed to shorten up a bit, probably from fatigue - 2:35.63

# 100 (d3/s5): B 15 & Over 100 Fly (1:18.17Y ) - Was hoping he'd at least go his 1:14 or 1:15 he's done a couple of times in the 400 IM, but he didn't. Like the 400 IM earlier in the meet, the form was better, just slow...1:19.58
