Thought he scanned as village but I see you are right. It makes Lathum look a little better but I am still not sold that it makes him look perfect. With Danny as basically a rogue wolf who didn't even know that he was supposed to be playing for the wolves it may make plenty of sense to sacrifice him early before he can do any unknowing damage.
