Julián Ortíz, wielded a big bat in August and was hailed as the Continental League Batter of the Month.
He hit a healthy .370 with 9 home runs, 20 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
So far this year in 131 games Ortíz is hitting .286 with 33 home runs, 78 RBIs and 74 runs scored.
